Join us for a practical webinar designed to equip general practitioners with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage behaviours and psychological symptoms (BPSD) in dementia.

CPD learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the incidence and prevalence rates of behaviours and psychological symptoms in dementia, incorporating factors such as disease progression, patient demographics, and regional variations.
  • Develop knowledge and critical thinking skills to identify and dispel common misconceptions surrounding delusions in Behaviours and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia (BPSD).
  • Demonstrate a thorough comprehension of the various behaviours and psychological symptoms associated with dementia, including agitation, aggression, apathy, hallucinations, and wandering, with consideration of their impact on people living with dementia and their carers.
  • Identify potential adverse effects and limited long-term dangers associated with pharmacological interventions in dementia care.
